About the project
I created Understandary to give several publications and podcasts a shared home, subscription system, and recognizable editorial identity while allowing each project to keep its own subject and voice.
I use the umbrella brand less often now because the individual publications have become clearer destinations of their own. The subscription infrastructure still provides access to paid editions across all the remaining projects, but I don’t promote it anymore.
