About the project
I started Content Layer to write about the work behind content: structure, voice, editorial systems, information design, operations, and the small language decisions that make a product easier to understand.
I usually publish a new piece once or twice a month, and I use specific examples (from Magic card copy to weather interfaces) to examine how information earns trust and becomes useful.
